The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is an entrance examination for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The exam is conducted annually by one of the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB).
The JEE Advanced exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, both of which are held on the same day. The exam is conducted in the offline (pen and paper) format.
Each paper consists of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The questions in the exam are multiple choice and numerical answer types. There is a negative marking for incorrect responses.
